About The Artist

My name is Iago, born and raised in the Philippines, and in 2007, I moved to the United States to pursue a life of creativity and adventure. In 2020, fate led me to my wife, a connection that also introduced me to her father, Serban. A craftsman of over 30 years, he became my mentor, passing down the ancient art of silver casting and crafting—an invaluable gift of wisdom and tradition.

Life has taken me on an unpredictable journey, but through every twist and turn, my creative spirit has remained my guide. From painting houses to working in kitchens, managing a café, bartending, modeling, and acting—each path was a chapter in my pursuit of freedom, artistry, and inspiration.

Creativity runs deep in my roots. I grew up waking to the scent of oil paint, coffee, and cigarettes as my mother tirelessly worked on her canvases, fueled by an unstoppable passion. That same fire lives within me—the love for beauty, growth, and nature, and the courage to carve my own way, no matter the sacrifices.

IAGO ATELIER is an extension of myself, a reflection of the treasures I’ve gathered along the way. Each piece I create is infused with meaning, a companion for your journey, a reminder of the magic in the everyday. May it inspire you, as much as the journey has inspired me.
